Georgina "Piggy" French is a British equestrian sportswoman, noted for contending in eventing. She has spoken to the Great Britain group at the European Eventing Championship, picking up an individual silver decoration, and the World Equestrian Games.[1][2] She is from North Elmham in Norfolk.[3]
French was conceived in Norfolk, and picked up her moniker right off the bat when gone by her sisters in healing facility who noticed a similarity to Piglet from the Winnie-the-Pooh stories.[1] Her mom Kate and sister Nini additionally contend in eventing.
Eventing career[edit]
Having contended on littler occasions, French's first title level ride was in 2001 at the youthful riders European Championship, with a fourth place in the individual and a group gold medal.[1] Piggy spoke to Britain as a person at the 2009 Europeans winning the individual silver decoration on board Some Day Soon.The taking after year, she contended at the World Equestrian Games completing fourteenth with Jakata. This mix then completed ninth at the 2011 Europeans winning her first senior group award, group bronze. In the senior positions she has contended at various CCI 4* rivalries, with her best 4* place being second with Jakata at the Badminton horse trials in 2011. Her top steed Jakata was resigned toward the end of the 2014 season. Piggy will have three top stallions for the 2015 season which will be DHI Topper W, Westwood Marinier and Tinka's Time.[4]
